Cote

Ribeye, Mushrooms, and Rice Cakes

I had high hopes for Cote after it came well-recommended by several trustworthy recommenders of food... And it was pretty clear early on that it was going to deliver.

Cote is a Korean Steakhouse that only serves top-of-the-line beef (USDA Prime or A-5 Wagyu).  Any cut you order will come with some Korean accompaniments to make your own delicious beef wraps.  We went with the heavily recommended "Butcher's Feast", which included four cuts (hangar steak, dry-aged ribeye, American Wagyu ribeye, and marinated short rib), along with sides for the table and desserts.  I loved the dry-aged ribeye and the marinated short rib, and honestly, pretty much everything else I ate.

I'd definitely go with the Butcher's Feast if it's your first time here. You can always add onto it, but it'll give you a taste of everything without making you feel like you just purchased an overpriced bento box with just enough to taste everything but not enough of anything to fill up.  We left full, but if I went in for anything else I'd be tempted to add on another order of the marinated short rib or ribeye, or if you want to really jump off the deep end you can always go for the select cuts of Japanese Wagyu that are between $35-$75 per ounce.  Whatever you decide on, you could probably come here for just about any occasion in the world or none at all, and you'd never leave disappointed.
